JinjerBiography/HistoryJinjer (2009-present): a Progressive Metal band from Donetsk, Ukraine. U krainian heavy metal band Jinjer formed in Donetsk in 2009. None of the founding members Maksym Fatullaiev (vocals), Vyacheslav Okhrimenko (drums) and Dmitriy Oksen (rhythm guitar) remain with the band; Oksen being the last to leave in 2015. The current lineup of Tatiana "Tati" Shmailyuk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitars), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass) and Vladislav "Vladi" Ulasevich (drums) considers 2010 as its official year of formation. Oleksandr Koziychuk (drums), Yevhen Mantulin (drums) and Dmitriy Kim (drums) were also past members. No matter what the members say was their start date, their self-released EP Objects in Mirror Are Closer than They Appear emerged in 2009. Cloud Factory (2014), King of Everything (2016), Macro (2019) and Wallflowers (2021) would follow, along with the live set, Alive in Melbourne (2020) coupled with the EPs Inhale, Do Not Breathe (2012) and Micro (2019). The band's more recent releases have featured lyrics addressing the War in Donbas and its effects on their home region of Donetsk. Their music spans the spectrum citing everyone from Slayer, Death and Pantera to hip-hop acts such as Cypress Hill and House of Pain. Dashboard for Jinjer
