Count Raven

Biography/History

Count Raven (1989-1998, 2003-present): a Doom Metal band from Stockholm, Sweden.

tarting out as Stormwarning before reforming as Count Raven in 1989 the membership of Christian Linderson (vocals), Dan Fondelius (guitars/keyboards), Tommy "Wilbur" Eriksson (bass) and Christer Pettersson (drums) would release Storm Warning (1990).

For the follow-up, Destruction of the Void (1992), Fondelius had taken over vocals along with guitars when Linderson left. This line-up would hold for High on Infinity (1993) and Messiah of Confusion (1996) before the band split in 1998 only to reform again in 2003 to release Mammons War (2009) with the revised membership of Fondelius now taking on guitars, keyboards, vocals, string arrangements, along with Fredrik Jansson (bass/djembe/percussion) and Jens Bock (drums).
