Spike (1973-1984, 1998): a Heavy Metal band from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
aunched in 1973, Spike opened under the membership of Mike Skimmerhorn (vocals), Denny Kuller (bass/vocals (backing)), Les Sharp (drums), David T. Chastain (guitars) and Chuck Terpo (keyboards) to release a set of singles to be followed with their debut album, The Price of Pleasure in 1983. The album did not feature founding member Terpo, however. The band would break up a year later only to try a reformation in 1998 to no success. In 2001 The Forum Sessions would be released posthumously featuring the membership of Kuller, Sharp and Chastain, with Stephen Fredrick on vocals.
