Orchid (1997-2002): a Punk band from Amherst, Massachusetts , USA.

T

he band was formed while Jayson Green (vocals/keyboards/percussion), Will Killingsworth (guitar/keyboards), Jeffrey Salane (drums/percussion) and Brad Wallace (bass; who would be replaced with Geoff Garlock in 1999).

Green and Wallace met while studying at Hampshire College, while Salane was attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst in early 1998. The group would release Chaos Is Me (1999), Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow! 10" (2000) and Gatefold (2002), with two compilations Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow! + Chaos Is Me (2002) and Totality (2005). The majority of their discography was released on vinyl records which they often split/shared with other bands.
