Orchid (2006-present): a Doom Metal band from San Francisco, California, USA.

N

amed after the Black Sabbath song of the same title, Orchid would start out to feature Keith Nickel (bass), Carter Kennedy (drums), Mark Thomas Baker (guitars) and Theo Mindell (vocals) among its membership to release a self-titled debut EP (2009), Through the Devil's Doorway EP (2009), Capricorn (2011), Heretic EP (2012), Monsters of Metal Split (2013), Wizard of War EP (2013), The Mouths of Madness (2013), The Zodiac Sessions Compilation (2013) and Sign of the Witch EP (2015). The first membership change would take place in 2016 with Tommy Rickard (drums), and in 2019 with Will Storkson (guitars).

Footnote: Not to be confused with the screamo band Orchid from Amherst, Massachusetts.
