hile guitarist Wilson Lihn was honing his skills in the New York scene with drummer Tim Newton, Evan R. Saffer was singing with bassist J. Brown in another act until they all came together in 2000 to form Fixer and win several battle of the band events, including one at the famous CBGB's, before releasing their demo EP Bend in 2002 that was followed by the All The Pleasure That You Crave EP in 2004 featuring a bonus DVD of the CBGB event.

With Tommy Zamp taking guitar and Rev Swank on skins, Before The Sun (2007) would follow before the band split in 2009.
