GogmagogGogmagog (1985): a Hard Rock band from London, UK. G ogmagog was a short-lived heavy metal supergroup, assembled in 1985 by record producer Jonathan King as a personal contrivance, featuring the lineup of ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di'Anno and drummer Clive Burr, future Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers, ex-Def Leppard guitarist Pete Willis and ex-Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray. The original line-up of the act was to feature Whitesnake vocalist David Coverdale, bassist John Entwistle of The Who, along with drummer Cozy Powell. This early line-up proposal simply didn't work as smoothly as planned, nor did the project as a whole for as soon as King lost interest, he abandoned his invention after releasing I Will Be There EP (1985).
