Biography/History

Impaler (1989-1992): a Death Metal band from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England, UK.

T

his short lived act started in 1989 under the name Carnage, where they only released a set of demos. By 1991 they had changed their name to Impaler, featuring the membership of Edd Patrick (vocals), Nick Adams (drums), Paul Mariotti (guitars) and Chris Drew (guitars/bass) by the release of their only album Charnel Deity (1991). After appearances on several compilations and a split with The Dead Shall Inherit, also in 1991, they also split soon after.


Footnote: Not to be confused with the American band by the same name.
