Jonathan Davis (1971-present): a Musician from Bakersfield Beach, California, USA.
onathan Howsmon Davis (born January 18, 1971) is best known as the singer for Korn. He had, however, been musing about a solo side career for sometime, first working without his Korn buddies when he collaborated on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Word of a solo album proper began to circulate in the mid-2000s when Davis began touring and writing with his solo band, Jonathan Davis and the SFA (short for Jonathan Davis and the Simply Fucking Amazings), where he released two live albums, Alone I Play (2007) and Live at the Union Chapel (2011); that band disbanded in 2014 after the death of guitarist Shane Gibson. Over the next decade, Davis would continue to write solo material while performing with Korn. In 2018 'Sumerian Records' would release the culmination of that work in the form of Black Labyrinth with multiple guest musicians performing with Davis; the album was essentially the sound of Korn with his own name on it.
