tarted in the late 1990s Spider Rockets, using Evanescence, Deftones and Audioslave as influences. With the membership of Helina (vocals), Johnny Nap (guitar), Tommy Toolz (bass) and Waldo (drums) and hailing from both New Jersey and the San Francisco Bay area of the USA, Spider Rockets would make top 20 on the CMJ with their debut CD, Fliiped Off, with several other independent music awards and accolades to follow. The Spider Rockets would follow it up with the alternative rock sounding Preview (2003), an aptly titled 4-track demo/sampler CD compared to the works of Seven Year Bitch and L7.
