001 saw Maledicta form when Mysteria (guitar) and Answer (drums) met up to play together before recruiting Cerimor (vocals). As a threesome, they would seek out a bass player to complete the line-up, until 2002 when they would release their Epoca demo featuring the Destruction and Insensibility (Of The Human Nature) tracks. This demo work got them live exposure in and around their hometown, as well as Bologna at the Emergenza Rock and Terminillo's Snowjam 02 competitions.

Way back when, the act had found an original bass player and now had to replace him with Synasius to record the Dark Emersion, a 4-track demo. After receiving fair reviews they stepped out onto the ledge to hire keyboardist . (yes - dot) and record their full length album, Eruption From Insides (2003), featuring nine songs including three re-arranged from past demos.
