amed after the Russian Soviet pilot who became the first human to traverse space, Yuri Gagarin (the band) kept with the theme of this legacy by incorporating subjects relating to space in their lyrics as well as elements of 'space rock' influenced by Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Nektar, and Eloy. Adding to those influences, Yuri Gagarin includes heaviness and distortion to their musical style, coupled with an emphasis on instrumentals. Consisting of lead guitarist Christian "Crille" Lindberg, rhythm guitarist Jon Eriksson, bassist Leif Göransson, synthesizer Robin Klockerman, and drummer Stefan "Steffo" Johansson, the group would release the self-titled Yuri Gagarin (2013), along with Sea of Dust (2015), At the Center of All Infinity (2015) and The Outskirts Of Reality (2020).
