WehrmachtWehrmacht (1985-1992, 2009-present): a Thrash Metal band from Portland, Oregon, USA. F ormed in Portland, Oregon, in 1985, Wehrmacht, after releasing several demos, gained popularity in the underground metal and punk tape trading community. After being signed to 'New Renaissance Records', they would go on to release two albums, Shark Attack (1987) and Biermacht (1989) under the membership of Tito Matos (vocals), Marco Zorich (guitars), John Duffy (guitars), Shann Mortimer (bass) and Brian Lehfeldt (drums). The band would rename themselves Macht in 1990, but after one demo, Vice Grip (1990), they split. The Biermächt/Shark Attack (1989) and Hardcore Classix! (2009) compilation albums would follow posthumously. Lehfeldt went to play with Cryptic Slaughter, then sang for the now defunct humorous funk act Sweaty Nipples. Matos and Zorich formed Spazztic Blurr to release one album called The Before...and After on 'Earache Records'. In 2010 the band reformed with the original membership to release Fast As A Shark Attack EP (2010), Viva Sharko! boxed set (2010) and The Complete Beer Soaked Collection 1985/1989 boxed set (2014). The membership would also change to feature Eric Hezler assuming vocals and Marco Zorich (a.k.a. Marco Sharko) taking over guitar from Jones. Footnote: Wehrmach was the name of the German regular army during WWII. Artist Dashboard:
