Incubus

Biography

Incubus (1986-1989): a Death Metal band from Georgia, USA.

T

he membership included Sterling "Von" Scarborough (bass/vocals; ex-(Usurper, Morbid Angel, Anubis, Liber Noctiluca, Von Incubus)), Gino Marino (guitars; ex-(After Death, Nocturnus, Shame Hammer)), Rich Fuscia (drums; ex-(Usurper, Lestregus Nosferatus)), Mike Browning (drums; After Death, Argus, ex-(Devine Essence, Lisa the Wolf, Nocturnus AD, Acheron, Morbid Angel, Voodoo Gods, Nocturnus)) and Steve "Skully" Shoemaker (guitars).

The original version of the band included "Skully" Shoemaker and Rich Fuscia and never recorded anything. Von Scarborough moved to Florida to join Morbid Angel. However, after he and Mike Browning left there, they reformed Incubus to also feature Gino Marino. But Mike Browning soon left to form Nocturnus. Von Scarborough returned to Atlanta, Georgia and was re-joined by Marino to form a new Incubus that, again, failed.

Sterling "Von" Scarborough died in 2006.

Gino Marino died in 2017.

Incubus demo was the only recording in 1987.
