Bad Seed (1993-present): a Rock band from Miami, Florida, USA.
ad Seed was formed in 1993 by Lou Leeman, Jason Trenczer, Ron Colandrea and Dante Scioscia. The band was a getting back to roots project, with the influences of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles as well as many of the heavier bands of the 1980s run rampid in the songs set forth by Bad Seed. A demo of four songs was recorded shortly after their formation and soon there after sought at, by several indie record Labels. Bad Seed went with 'Sony/Rockworld', and their self-titled record was released in 1995. Bad Seed toured the East Coast and the Midwest and was successful on college radio. Unfortunately soon there after (much to the bands suprise) the Record Label decided to call it a day. The members of the band have since been involved in other projects and have fared well in their own respect. This site was put together by Ron Colandrea an ex-member of Bad Seed with the thought in mind of sharing the musical creations that were formed from a band that played from the heart and loved what they did.
Footnote: Not to be confused with the hardcore punk band from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, USA.
