Inhumate (1990-present): a Death Metal band from Strasbourg, France.
n September 1990 Fred Anton (bass) was moving to a city in the North East of France called Strasbourg. Arriving there he wanted to set up a death metal band so he searched and found vocalist Olivier Herol, who in turn notified a friend of the project, and David Loessl (guitar) and Stephane (drums) were hired soon after. The line-up was stable for about one year, after that Stephane and Olivier left the band to be replaced by Valentin and Sebastien. These new members allowed the act to move into the death metal/grind sound and record their 1993 debut four track demo Abstract Suffering.
But in 1994 the drummer and the vocalist left the band again, but not for long for that October Christophe Knecht (vocals) and Yannick Giess (drums) arrived. The act would then concentrate more on the grind aspects of the scene for their 1995 demo, Grind Your Soul. Their first full length CD arrived in September 1996 under the name Internal Life, the second full length album Ex-Pulsion followed in November of 1997, and in June 2000 the third full length album Growth followed. In February 2004 the act released its fourth album, Life under the influence of the styles of Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death.
