Deaf Dealer
Deaf Dealer (1980-2009): a NWOBHM band from Joncquiere, Quebec, Canada.
K
nown originally as Death Dealer during their early days the name change came just before the release of their debut album. The name change went further than just the band name for each member also assumed English names instead of their native French-Canadian ones. Under the English monikers of Michael Flynn (vocals), Ian Penn (guitar), Marc Hayward (guitar), J.P. Forsyth (bass) and Dan McGregor (drums) they would release an album of Iron Maiden like music titled Keeper Of The Flame (1986). It would be many years later before the act resurfaced back using their original name. Journey into Fear (2014) would be released posthumously.
