ScaldScald (1993-present): a Metalcore band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. D .I.Y. Hardcore band Scald arrived in 1993, from the festering ashes of various grindcore punk/Crust Metal units including T.V.P. and Bleeding Rectum, with the primary personnel list of, Big Balls (bass), Pete Dempsey (guitars/vocals) and Paul 'Paulrus' McCarroll (drums) to release Rancid Fuckhole (1994). From the early black-noise of their primitive first-born Scald would evolve into a sharper more Metallic Doom punk mesh of cold, piercing "thrashery" in the form of the Born With Teeth demo (1997) featuring new member of Mick Tierney (guitar) and McCarroll taking over drums. Dempsey took over bass along with his vocal duties for the Nematoid Specimen Parts I-IV & Nematoid Specimen Parts V-IIX demos in 1999 and 2000 respectively. But positive responses were received for the Headworm album, their commercial debut, in 2003. Artist Dashboard:
