tarting in 1995 with the membership of Philipp Frick (guitar/vocals), Dominik Haufe (guitar), Sascha Lorenz (drums) and Ralf Hauber (bass) as their very first experience with music and addicted to melodic styles, especially from Scandinavian acts and the likes of Dark Tranquility, In Flames, Edge Of Sanity and Amorphis (specifically the Tales Of Thousand Lakes album).
Between the beginning and 1999 they had created 17 tracks, from which the last 5 ended up on their first CD, the self-financed Beyond The Gates Of Pain (1999) completely bypassing the demo route and going completely live with some 30 shows before the CD with acts like Fleshcrawl, Mystic Circle, End Of Green, Dawn Of Dreams, Apophis, Behind The Scenery and Burden Of Grief. The initial CD sold some 650 units, not to mention the several CD and tape compilations.
In 2000, the Latvian 'Ketzer Distribution' and 'Beverina Productions' re-recorded the CD as a tape, adding some live bonus tracks, different cover and pictures to get a small circulation of 1000 copies, mostly in Eastern Europe culminating in an appearance at the Summer Breeze Festival 2000 along with acts like Vader, Subway To Sally and Tom Angelripper.
After that, the act took a little break, due to different job situations of each band member and lack of time in general, but they didn't call it quits as the song writing continued resulting in the launch of Art Of Devolution (2002) and For Tyrant's Sake (2007) before calling it quits in 2012.
