Bloodshoteye (2002-2011): a Thrash Metal band from Leamington, Ontario, Canada.
loodshoteye, known as "Canada's Southern Most Metal Band", came from Leamington, Ontario influenced by: Lamb of God, Chimaira, Burnt By The Sun, Living Sacrifice, Hatebreed, Slayer and Skinless. Originally performing under the membership of Mark (vocals), Shane Ivy (guitar), Jeremy Dyck (drums) and Will Davis (bass) they would release their debut demo Bloodshot Eye (2002) and show off their skills at their first show in Montreal in May 2003 at the Obey The Flame Fest with Strapping Young Lad. Mark would thereafter be replaced by Jessica Desjardins (vocals; who was called, "the heaviest chick singer on the planet!") while Davis would leave and replaced with Mike.
Bloodshot Eye's debut album proper would emerge as Without Any Remorse in June of 2004 on the 'Galy' record label, with a video for Hitlist filmed in Toronto later that same year. A tour supporting Cryptopsy and Bloodshot Eye's Fubar track would be featured on the A Treasury of Sorrows compilation by 'Lifeless Records' by year close. After several other supporting tours over the next year, Bloodshot Eye would release their second opus in the form of An Unrelenting Assault in April 2006 with Mike Wiebenga now on drums. Jer Candusso would assume bass and James Lembke would take over guitars for Expect the Unexpected (2010). By the band's break-up in 2011 Jay would be on bass, while Lembke would be gone.
