World TradeBiographyWorld Trade (1989-1995, 2016-present): a Rock band from USA. S tarted in the late 1980s as a studio act, World Trade was under the guidance of Billy Sherwood (vocals/bass), Bruce Cowdy (guitar), Guy Allison (keyboards), Mark T. Williams (drums). Three albums would represent the band starting with the self-titled in 1990 on 'Polydor' characterized by Sherwood's Jon Anderson-like vocal style backed by a synthesizer pomp style that drew comparisons to Yes (Sherwood was apparently invited to join Yes at one point). Euphoria (1995) would follow the self-titled. The act collapsed shortly later, however, when Sherwood made an attempt at going solo. The act would reform in 2016 to release and Unify (2017).
