Aaronsrod

Biography/History

Aaronsrod (1984-1993, 2002-present): a NWOBHM band from Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

F

ounded by Italian born American Angelo Jensen (vocals) who added Neil DeLaforce (vocals/guitar), Brian Spalding (guitar), Edward Dysarz (bass/vocals) and Gerard Gonsalves (drums), Aaronsrod would take nearly three years before producing their debut, Illusions Kill in 1987 on the 'Roadrunner' label in a sort of glam metal influenced NWOBHM style similar to Ratt, a band they subsequently supported before their eventual demise in 1993 after several further demo attempts.

The drum stool was not a stable one, for Tig Moore and Christofer Totalia would also occupy it.

After a couple of compilations, The Collected Works - Volume #1 (2002) and The Collected Works - Volume #2 (2002), Aarosnrod would reform under the membership of Edward Dysarz (bass), Brian Spalding (guitars), Neil Delaforce (guitars) and Angelo Jensen (vocals) to take another run at fame with Afterlife (2009).
