Frehley's Comet (1987-present) is a Hard Rock band from New York, USA.
rehley's Comet was formed in 1987 by former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley, who hired the services of Tod Howarth, John Regan and Anton Fig. While still a member of Kiss in 1978, Frehley would launch an eponymous debut that made top 30. Now, out of Kiss, and after having kicked his drug habits, Frehley would return with his own Frehley's Comet band and eponymous debut in 1987. The album continued on as a natural progression from Kiss and received a US 43 for the effort, but the follow-up, Second Sighting, assumed a more Popish AOR style in 1988 that faired less well at only 81 on the same charts. His last presentation, Trouble Walkin' (1989), was just that, his last, for although it attempted to return to the style of old it nonetheless failed to push the US 100. The band seemed to have no trouble walking at all, for they abandoned him halfway through the tour and he subsequently went underground and was not seen again.
