ormed in 1995, M.S.O.D. forged its way into the metal community. Through years of hard work and sweat (and many line up changes), they have evolved to share the stage which such bands as Iced Earth, Testement, Overkill, W.A.S.P., Yngwie J. Malmsteen, King Diamond, ProPain, Joe Stump, Manowar, to name a few.
In 2002 the band had the opportunity to record with industry engineer/producer Lance Dean who has credits with Soulfly, Lynch Mob, and the last two Megadeth albums. The finished product entitled Mastermind was M.S.O.D.'s first CD to receive airplay on both college and syndicated network stations. After a three year hiatus M.S.O.D. re-surfaced featuring Greg Gruben (ex-Icarus Witch), Mark Luvison, Eric Ollom and Keith Hurka with the influences of Iced Earth, Megadeth, Brainstorm, Godiva, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Mystic Prophecy, Cacophony, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Nasty Savage, Nightwish, Sonata Artica, Death, God Forbid, Trivium, Queensryche, Rob Halford, Fight, Dream Evil, Marty FriEDMan, Angra, Doro, Seven Witches, Evergrey, Axel Rudi Pell, Judas Priest, Eidolon, Meshuggah (Switzerland), Annihilator, Testament, Overkill, Pro-Pain, King Diamond, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, EdGuy, Symphony X, Metallium (USA), Pantera, Soilwork, Lita Ford, Lullacry, and After Forever to release Metal Symphony of Darkness EP in 2006; the act has been silent since.
