WarheadBiographyWarhead (1983-1989): a Speed Metal band from Drieslinter, Belgium. T he style of Warhead's was a basic dirty high speed "speed metal". The mid 1980s were not a good time for Belgian and Dutch bands, who seemed to release albums without being properly prepped, and Warhead was no exception with their two albums, Speedway (1984) and The Day After (1986) before splitting. The membership remained stable with Evil Tyrant (Real Name: Pierre; bass), Firedamp (drums), Wall of Sound (Real Name: Didier Kapelle; ex-Cyclone; guitars) and The Beast (Real Name: Patrick Van Londerzele; vocals). The compilation Speedway/The Day After was released many years later in 2002. Footnote: Not to be confused with the English bands of the same name. Dashboard for Warhead
