DamienBiographyDamien (1981-present): a Power Metal band from Toledo, Ohio, USA. S traddling the lines between power metal and hard rock, Ohio band Damien, under the membership of Randy Mikelson (vocals), Chuck Stohl (guitar), Fritz Adamshick (guitar), Kevin Kekes (bass) and Johnny Cappelletty (a.k.a. Evil; drums) scored some minor MTV play with their early works of Every Dog has its Day (1987) and Stop this War (1989), before suddenly disappearing. Member changes came and went before officially reforming with Stohl and Kekes returning to recruit Scott Miller (vocals) and Rob Brug (drums) and releasing the self-financed Damien EP (1992) and Angel Juice (1995) on a morelic if less original bent before closing up again; members Mikelson and Cappelletty would later start a new band named Fetish Doll. The band would reform, However, under the membership of Kevin "Killer" Kekes (bass), "Evil" (drums), Chuck Stohl (guitars), Fritz Adamshick (guitars/vocals) And Randy "Wolf" Mikelson (vocals) to release Beyond Apathy in 2011. Two compilations followed in 2018 titled Candle Of Life (2018) and St. Clair Tapes (2018). This reformation was spawned by Mikelson's rejoining Damien, but not before forming a heavy metal/power metal band called Fetish Doll in the late '90s/early 2000s and which later reformed in 2017 releasing three demo CDs, The Worm, Vile and Within, that remain very rare. Footnote: Do not confuse this Damien with the Swedish thrash metal band of the same name who recorded only one EP titled Requiem For The Deadin (1988). Dashboard for Damien
