Biography

Desecration (1993-present): a Death Metal band from Newport, Wales, UK.

A

round since 1993, Desecration would attempt several demos before debuting with Gore & Perversion (1996) under the membership of Ollie Jones (vocals/guitars), Jason Davies (drums), Paul Arlott (guitars) and Glenn Thomas (guitars).

After the live album, Murder in Mind - Live (1998), Murder in Mind (1998) would see John Young (bass) and John Wagner (guitars (lead)) replacing Arlott.

Now going by their first names only, Inhuman (2000) would see Mike Hourihan takes drums with Julian Hay assuming lead guitars. Lee Evans took the ever shifting lead guitars position for Pathway to Deviance (2002), while only Mike and Ollie were present for the follow-up, Gore and PerVersion 2 (2003). Pete Davies would take bass for Raping the Corpse later in 2003, as well as Process of Decay (2005).

By the time Forensix (2008), Andi Morris (bass/vocals (backing)) moved in and keeping the band a three-some during the release of the Free Desecration Mixtape compilation (2013), the Live at Immortal Bar Bangkok 7th February 2014 live album in 2014, and Cemetery Sickness (2014).


Footnote: Both Davis' and Morris would also go on to form Mulch but not before Morris would join Extreme Noise Terror and Funeral for a Friend.
