Arachnes (1995-present): a Power Metal band from Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Containing 3/4 the membership of Firehouse, Arachnes would first hit the market in 1997 with the release of an EP Metamorphosis, on 'Underground Symphony' with illustration by Spanish artist Luis Royo and the previously released new album on the Italian 'Lucretia' label, The Goddess Temple, that they assumed their present name, Arachnes. But their true revolution would not happen until Parallel Worlds was published on 'Scarlet'. With the inspiration of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Van Halen, Toto, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Jethro Tull, Yes, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Dream Theater, Stratovarius and Bartok, the Caruso Brothers (Enzo on vocals and Franco on guitar) would create their on-going unique sound both interesting and new at the same time with the assistance of Massimo Clementi (bass) and Jaco (drums).

The 3rd album Apocalypse was the first concept album written by the band. The sound was even more mature and offered the same techniques, both in melody and aggression. The Caruso brothers completed the production themselves by both recording and mixing. The album also got enthusiastic feedback in Japan where the 'Avalon/Marquee' label released the album with a bonus track titled Epilogue. This album saw Arachnes continue to increase their sales and positive reviews.

Primary Fear featuring the Tota Pulchra a song recorded in a church with a real church-organ and composed by the Maestro F.Castelli, and a cover song of Eruption taken from the Prog-Rock Tarkus by E.L.P. tracks proved to further progress their aggressive power metal feel. Again the Japanese version will feature a bonus track and will be released by 'Marquee/Avalon'. In Praise of Science (2006) and A New Day (2011).
