JD Bradshaw (1998-present): a Musician from Wachapreaque, Virginia, USA.
Blending blues, light jazz and rock, guitarist J.D. Bradshaw finally released his premier work, Caught In The Act, in 1998. J.D. had 15 years of experience in performing, recording and composing under the influences of Ace Frehley, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Joe Satriani.

Upon seeing his first Kiss concert back in 1979, J.D. knew that he wanted to be a guitar player; a guitar player like his hero Ace Frehley. At 14 he took up guitar lessons, and by high school was playing at parties, clubs and fund-raisers in an effort to satisfy his need to rock with a number of different start-up bands.

After graduating in 1985, he headed for Ocean , Maryland to join Killer Elite, a local thrash metal act. That job would last until 1990 with only a single demo effort titled Mad As Hell being recorded in 1988. For a while he had to satisfy himself with gigging with local wannabe metal and rock acts in the Delmarva area. He would also apply for, but failed to receive, a spot with Ozzy Osbourne and Kix.

He gave up and hopped a bus for home in 1995. After a rethink of sorts he emerged again, this time in his own act Whiskey River with fellow music purveyors Patti Morris (lead vocals), Mike Buker (bass), Johnny Dudd (drums) with J.D. himself on lead guitar. This venture would last for two years and earned him some serious dollars while on tour.

Caught In The Act, a 4 song EP on his own 'Acacia Entertainment' label, would emerge in 1998. The album would receive reviews comparing him to Satriani, Vai and Yngwie J. Malmsteen. He struggled with his first release but managed international distribution with 'Emperor Multimedia's Diskery' subsidiary, among others. His second release, The Essence Of Existence, was launched in January 2002 and was also picked up for distribution. It too was warmly received. Up until this point J.D. played it all himself, except drums. But at the end of 2002 a new band line-up was formed featuring his guitar playing along with the talents of Pete Blackwell (bass), George Duer (drums), Kevin Parker (guitar) and J.D. Bradshaw once again on lead guitar in the newly expanded J.D. Bradshaw Band.

By May 2003 J.D. was on the move again, however, when he signed a management contract with 'Bands backstage' to manage and promote his current and future solo career projects. Jan 2004 J.D. joined Sneak Preview a 5 piece classic rock band from Seaford, Delaware to become a full time member playing in the Delmarva area. When not gigging with the band, J.D. is writing and demoing new songs for his new solo cd release with a 3-year endorsement with USMusic Corp. to play Randall Amps and Washburn guitars exclusively. All those nice new instruments would be showcased on his 2006 aptly titled 3rd Time Around EP.
