Evil (1983-1985, 2007-2015, 2017-present): a Heavy Metal band from Copenhagen, Denmark.
1980s old school heavy metal was the order of the day with Pete "Popcorn" Hurricane (Real Name: Peter Larsen; bass), Finn Lindblad (drums), Tommy Strauss (guitars), Kim Xmas (Real Name: Kim Jul; guitars) and Pearl Angel (Real Name: Per Hansen; vocals) when they released their '83 Demo demo in 1983, then followed it up with the EP Evil's Message (1984) featuring Freddie Wolf (Real Name: Freddie Pedersen) now on guitars. Evil launched themselves at the very start of the style movement, unfortunately they apparently didn't have the suss to completely follow through to become a hit act on the main scene and the act split in 1985. Previous to this (between 1982-1983) they went under the moniker Never Mind.

A split album followed titled Evil/Sortil├Ęge in 1999 which really was more of a compilation of their work since it was released posthumously.

In 2007, however, Evil regrouped featuring much of the original cast but this didn't seem to last because in 2015 Shoot the Messenger appeared featuring guest musicians but remaining mostly a Freddie Wolf affair by playing most of the key instruments including drums, guitars, bass as well as being credited with the lyrics and songwriting. And then that was the end of it again for the act split once more.

In 2017 Evil would return once more this time to release the Ride to Hell compilation in 2021 and follow it with the Book of Evil (2022) with a membership featuring Freddie Wolf as the only original members along side Henrik Molin (drums), Martin Steene (vocals), Nikolaj Ihlemann (guitars) and Jakob Haugaard (bass).
