The Awakening (1991-1995): a Heavy Metal band from Kent, Ohio, USA.
Under the membership of Jim Newcomb (bass), Greg Stocker (drums), Joe Sims (guitars) and Rick Barker (vocals), The Awakening would release a single album in the form of Invictus (1995) to accompany their popular demo, On & On Demo (1993) before splitting up in 1995. Newcomb and Sims both ex of Axemaster.
