Nailbomb (1994-1995): a Thrash Metal band from Phoenix, Arizona , USA.
The short-term collaboration that was Nailbomb was divided between Alex Newport (ex-Fudge Tunnel/of Theory Of Ruin) and Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura/of Soulfly) that resulted in the expected sludgy thrash sound merger much in the style of Fudge Tunnel with the occasional drum machine and samplers similar to Ministry or Godflesh.. As a duet they featured guests D.H. Peligro (of-Dead Kennedys), Max Cavalera's brother Igor Cavalera (Sepultura co-founder) and Dino Cazares (co-founder and guitarist of Fear Factory), to release one studio album titled Point Blank in 1994 and the acclaimed mostly live set, Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide (1995) before discontinuing the project.
