Abhorrent (1988-present): a Thrash Metal band from Brazil.
Although it took eight years before their first publication, Brazil's Abhorrent formed back in 1988. Their first album, Rage, arrived in 1996 as a self published affair featuring the line-up of Robson Aldeoli (vocals), Marcus Vireoli (guitar), Ricardo Thomaz (bass), Fabricio Cinelli (drums) and featuring a style similar to Destruction with vocals along the lines of Max Cavalera during his Sepultura days; the album benefited from a surprisingly clear production. Five years and several lineup changes later, their second album Caution Strong Irritant (2001) was released under the revised line-up of Aldeoli and Vireoli with replacement members Hudson Andre(guitar), Leandro Soares(bass)and Carlos Fibrian (drums). By 2003 Fabrício Moraes replaced Vireoli on guitar, while Gabriel Teykal replaced Fibrian on drums in preparation for a future recording.
