Gargoyle (1982-1988): a Progressive Metal band from Portland, Oregon, USA.
Featuring the membership of Tim Lachmann (vocals), brother Pat Lachman (guitars), Kevin Sanders (guitar), Doug Smith (bass) and David Kendall (drums/backing vocals) Gargoyle proved to be a fairly non-descript '80s metal band leaning more into the progressive style which was clearly evident on their one and only self-titled release in 1988. Their Into the Darkness track from their Demo '87 would appear on the Metal Massacre VIII compilation by 'Metal Blade Records' in 1987. They were not heard from again.
