Ill Affect (1996-present): a Metalcore band from Albaquerque, New Mexico, USA.
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA's Ill Affect was originally known as SFB (Shit For Brains) and started with five high school friends. Over the year that followed, three of the members would remain, Nathan Tanner (backing vocals/guitar), Vito Servizio (drums/backing vocals) and Chris Johnsson (bass/backing vocals), and then added Justin Rowan on bass and vocals. They would soon after change their name to Ill Affect to blast their unique form of hardcore metal, they like to dub "Illcore", on their local population with their demo album self-titled release in 1999, complete with Justin's profound lyrics and gut wrenching vocals.
