Trojan (1982-1988, 2019-2023, 2023-present): a NWOBHM band from Wigan, Greater Manchester, UK.
This band has had a rocky go of it. They debuted in 1982 with the EP, Official - 5 Track Cassette E.P. (1982) and a debut album, Chasing the Storm (1985) under the membership of Pete Wadeson (guitars), Brian Bentham (R.I.P.; bass), Mick Taylor (drums), Andy Halliwell (guitars) and Dave Kenyon (vocals), and Eddy Martin (bass), Pete Wadeson (guitars/vocals (backing)), Graeme Wyatt (vocals (lead)) and Sam Hall (drums). The band's future became uncertain following the release of their debut album, during which time Wadeson recorded an instrumental solo demo, in hope of catching onto the wave of shred-style guitarists at the time.

Eventually, the members of Tröjan decided to resume under the name Letha due to difficulties with their management for a short time where they released only a demo before taking the name Talion to release an album.

Wadeson and Wyatt regrouped in 2019 under the name Tröjan/Taliön, uniting the music of both bands under one banner, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic were unable to perform live until 2023. After a few festival shows that year, they decided to return to using the original Tröjan with the membership of Ste Anks (bass) and Dave Edwards (drums). The split box set compilation, The Complete Tröjan & Taliön Recordings 84-90 (2024) followed.
