Equinox (1987-1995, 2017-present): a Thrash Metal band from Fredrikstad, Norway.
Around 1982~ish the band formed under the name Rebellion but changed it in 1987 to Equinox under the inspiration of Sodom. This remained until they split eight years later only to reform again in 2017.

It would be with the line-up of Skule Stene (bass), Grim Stene (guitars/vocals), Tommy Skarning (guitars) and Ragnar Westin (drums) when Equinox had their full-length studio debut in the form of Auf Wiedersehen (1989), with The Way to Go and Skrell following a year later and Nuh! EP in 1991.

The remarkable stable line-up carried on for Xerox Success in 1992 until Labyrinth (1994) saw Jørn Wangsholm take over drums and the departure of Skarning to leave the band as a three-piece. But after the follow-up EP, Labyrinth Advance Tape (1994) the act split. They have since reformed but have yet to record.
