Bullet for My Valentine (1998-present): a Heavy Metal band from Bridgend, Wales, UK.
Abbreviated as BFMV, Bullet for My Valentine are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998 who are also popular amongst the emo community as well as various genres of heavy metal. Their debut album, The Poison was released on 3 October 2005 in the United Kingdom and on 14 February 2006 in the United States to coincide with Valentine's Day, in a nod to the band's name. The album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at number 128 under the membership of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals/rhythm guitar/additional lead guitar/bass (uncredited)), Michael "Padge" Paget (lead guitar/backing vocals), Jason "Jay" James (bass (credited but doesn't perform)/backing vocals), Michael "Moose" Thomas (drums) as well as Eicca Toppinen (arrangement (on "Intro")) and Apocalyptica (cellos (on "Intro")).

Scream Aim Fire (2008), Fever (2010), Temper Temper (2013) and Venom (2015) followed before Jamie Mathias took over bass and backing vocals.

Jason Bowld took drums in 2017 after being a touring member for 2016 to replace the departing Thomas, who left to care for his family, for Gravity (2018) and Bullet for My Valentine (2021).
