Leather Angel (1982-1985): a Heavy Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA.
Forming in the early 1980s, Leather Angel, was an all-female heavy metal band, originally under the name Obsession but were forced to change their name after objections from another band of the same name. The logo of the original outfit was apparently designed by Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx).

As Leather Angel, the membership featured Terry O'Leary (vocals), Debbie Wolf (guitars), Cathy Amanti (bass) and Krissi North (drums). The act spent much of their early days playing in West Hollywood, where a budding heavy metal scene was growing with acts like Motley Crue, Ratt, W.A.S.P. and Stryper.

Leather Angel's debut and only release, We Came to Kill (1983), failed to help the band sell. With Wolf's departure in 1985, the act changed names again, this time to Jaded Lady, with only three demos resulting. This incarnation would be seen in the 1988 film The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years.
