Kristendom (1997-2013): a Black Metal band from Paris, France.
French band Kristendom featuring Laurent Plainchamp (vocals), Alex Torgomian (guitar), ATNG (guitar), Olivier Couturier (drums) and Valtor (synthesizeresizeresizer) started in 1997 under the influence of At The Gates, Slayer, Pantera and Sepultura to release a demo (named simply Demo) in 1998 before releasing Operator Dead... Post Abandon in 1999. It would be their 2000 release of From Within on 'Osmose Productions' that got them acclaim, the concept album mixing melodic black metal with old school thrash metal, centering on the relationship and conversations between the Diva character and Satan. Antoine Grisard on second guitars. Inferno followed in 2002, with Awakening The Chaos following in 2005. Back in 2004, Nico would replace ATNG around the same time that Plainchamp left making room for Kerian. The band broke up soon after.
