School of Violence (1983-1988): a Thrash Metal band from New York, New York, USA.
Another Complete Death II compilation alumni, School of Violence would release only two recordings in the form of Live Demo 1986 (1986; live) and We the People...? (1988) before splitting up. The second album featured the line-up of Rick Stone (bass), Mark S. Evans (drums), Stegmon von Heintz (guitars) and Karl Agell (vocals). Evans would die in 2005 after returning to his native England when out one night two men and a woman stole his leather jacket. He pursued them but the group attacked and strangled him to death then set his body on fire. Brian Childers (vocals) was also a member of this band for a time and died in 2007 from alcohol poisoning.
