Shedd (1997-present): a Rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In 1997 Toronto, Canada would witness the start of Shedd in its local bars and clubs. Best described as "fervent vocals over edgy guitar with solid bass and drums", and influenced by the likes of Nirvana, The Clash, Radio Head, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Sex Pistols and Rush, Shedd came together with the membership of John Bettencourt (bass), Fern Corvelo (drums) and Gerry Lemos (guitar/vocals). They would tour around the local region playing on local cable TV and charity events, as well as bars and clubs, to release their Transition Array EP in 2003. The debut proved to be a mature and solid [[*+g]]grunge[[*-g]]/alternative rock album.
