Lesser Known (1991-present): a Metalcore band from Tilbury, Ontario, Canada.
The four-piece from Tilbury, Ontario, Lesser Known, consisting of Cory Chauvin (guitar), Roger Beaudry (bass), Paul Turgeon (drummer) and Spaz (vocals), set forth onto the music world with a business savvy attitude rarely seen and created groove laden, bone crunching heavy music of modern hardcore metal. They produced music worthy of any major label. They sponsored several tributes and compilations but their assaulting seven track album Condition Red in 2002, sent to the industry types with an impressive multimedia disc included, would only be one of a long line of previous independent releases including the self-titled four song demo cassette in 1991, followed by What is Life about? (1992) three song cassette, Bring An Open Mind (1994), 11 song album proper Inner Beast (1998), the 12 track album Higher Levels (2003) three song CD EP, and Circle the Drain (2001) three track EP.

Lesser Known had been hard at work on their career development plan. Their first full length demo Bring An Open Mind spawned a video for the single Sweat On Command that was broadcast on Canada's Much Music television. The follow-up full length, Inner Beast, hit 10 on the college Loud Rock charts across Canada.

While touring and recording their own material in 2000, they contributed tracks to 'Dwell Records' tributes to White Zombie, AC/DC and Suicidal Tendencies. Their cover of AC/DC's Dirty Deeds...Done Dirt Cheap was subsequently licensed for the Disney TV Channel series, Lizzie McGuire.
