Mystery Blue (1978-1989, 1995-present): a Heavy Metal band from Strasbourg, Grand Est, France.
Founded by guitarist "Frenzy" (Real Name: Francis Philippon) in 1982, along with Patrick Faller (bass), Jean-Marc Gogel (drums) and Yvan Bailbled (guitars/vocals), Mystery Blue would publish their demo in 1983.

By the time the self-titled 1984 debut happened, the membership changed to feature F. Philippon (guitars), P. Faller (Real Name: Patrick Faller; bass), J.M. Gogel (Real Name: Jean-Marc Gogel; drums), Y. Bailbled (Real Name: Yvan Bailbled; guitars) and M. Torres (Real Name: Michel Torres; vocals). Circle Of Shame (1986) would follow before a long string of demos and a membership shift before the act split in 1989 due to internal differences.

It would be nearly 10 years later when the band reformed under the membership of Nathalie Geyer (vocals/keyboards), Vince Koehler (drums) and Dany Ohlmann (bass) to release Spirit Of Your Song (1998). More demos would follow before the release of Metal Slaves (2003) in an attempt at a comeback with a more mature attitude and sound.

Rikki Mannhard would assume bass for Claws of Steel (2006) and Hell & Fury (2009). For Conquer the World (2012) Matt Gabnai would be on bass.

Their first live set, Live...Made in Europe, would arrive in 2015, with 8RED (2019) following featuring Sylvain Ebersoldt on guitars in place of Phil Blazek who had held the position since 2009.

Over their career, Mystery Blue have also toured with Saxon, Motorhead and Def Leppard.
