Ossuary Insane (1995-2006): a Death Metal band from Eagan, Minnesota, USA.
The history of Ossuary Insane is short but sweet. Der Prophet (Real Name: Chad Hanson; guitar) and Cantor Celebrant (Real Name: Kristofer Shon Jacobsen; guitar/vocals/bass) formed the outfit in 1991 under the name Ossuary and quickly expanded the line-up to feature Das Rage (Real Name: Jason Weber; drums). Their premier release was the three track Fallen To The Pits (1995); only 300 were pressed. A full-length promo release would soon follow in 1996, titled Demonized; 500 original copies were released. The Demonized CD was re-released in 1998 to be remixed and re-mastered with the added track, Fallen, and the disc itself re-titled Demonize The Flesh. 1000 copies of Demonize The Flesh were pressed and sold, mostly in Europe until their label 'Galdre Records' ran into financial trouble leaving the act once again swimming in the indie pool. The release was basic but classic death metal featuring lyrics surrounding around insanity, with good production and showing great promise for this act.

Now off a label two more demos emerged, The Soundtrack to Human Extermination (2005) and Bottom Feeder Promo (2006) before a shake-up in the membership saw Billus Maximus (bass; died in 2013), Larry (drums), Loathing (vocals) and Das Rage returning on drums during 2006. All members would have brief tenures before settling on Rick Peloquin (bass), Tony Olson (drums) and Shane Patten (vocals) before the band's demise. The release of the EP compilations Possession of the Flesh (2016), Decimation of the Flesh (2018) and Demonize the Flesh (2018) through 'Regain Records' would follow posthumously.
