Frozen Tears (1997-2012, 2018-present): a Heavy Metal band from Florence, Italy.
The band Frozen Tears plays classic heavy metal influenced by the material of the 1980s, in particular by the bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. During the years the act changed their line-up many times but the founding membership remained the same in the form of Taiti Alessio (vocals), Taiti Leonardo (guitar) and Torrini Lapo (guitar). In the very early stages of 1997 & 1998 respectively, the band recorded two demo-CDs, Sea of Sadness (1997) and Wasteland (1999). Their debut full recordings, Mysterious Time (2000) and Way of Temptation (2002) were recorded for the Brazilian label 'Megahard' records.
Metal Hurricane (2004) would be the third recording for this act now featuring Dionigi Massimiliano (bass) and Guarnieri Giovanni (drums) for the Italian label 'Steelheart'. The disc contained nine songs and a Judas Priest cover of Some Heads Are Gonna Roll; in comparison to the old CDs of the band, Metal Hurricane sounded in general more heavy and more aggressive.
After Nights of Violence (2007) featuring Giovanni Guarnieri (drums) and Slaves (2009) with Emanuele Coli (drums), the act split in 2012 to reform again in 2018.
