Tang (1999-present): a Gothic band from Garden City, New York, USA.
Not related to the juice of the same name, Tang would be the combined assault of Bonnie Parker (bass/vocals) and Denny Colt (guitar/vocals) and was conceived of in 1999. Tang delivered a dual attack of metallic rock with alternating vocals, trading phrases back and forth in their own ripping style. They have toured Europe, Canada and the US opening shows for such artists as W.A.S.P., Dokken, Hammerfall, Helloween, Dee Snider, Boy Sets Fire and many others. Members of the Tang tribe have been drummers: Gail Walden, formerly of The Poison Dollies, Steve "Budgie" Werner, ex of The Ace Frehley Band, and Nick Cipriano from the San Francisco Bay metal scene, and on keyboard s Vanessa from the punk band Vasaria. After two tours of Scandinavia to support, the release of Mental Pollution on 'Raw Power UK Records' would arrive in 2006.
