IV80 (1999-present): a Rock band from Limerick, Maine, USA.
All of the members of the band IV80 pretty much grown up with each other in Portland, Maine and started playing around 1986 or 87 to start the first of many bands. In 1992 the friends split to go on their separate ways in college, marriage, etc.

In 1999 the members met up again at a bar that some other buddies owned, the members all discovered that over the years they themselves had bands. One thing led to another and Zack Daniels and Tim Hiltz started jamming again. The first line-up came out in 2000 with Zack Daniels (vocals), Tim Hiltz (guitar), Glenn Downes (drums), and Curtis Pierce (bass). The act wrote four songs and recorded them in the 80's metal hair band style. Their live acts featured the same but with 95% cover tunes.

In 2001 life matters were getting in the way of the band members. One such change would cause Dave Vansteemburg to take over the bass; Vansteemburg having extensive history with the other members from also being a local and a members of several past band efforts. After he joined, they wrote and recorded two more tracks; one of which he would sing on. Downes then had to step out and was replaced temporarily with long time friend, Ryan Thoits. The bass spot would eventually be left empty again despite no recording ever being produced. According the internet searches, at time of writing, the band is still active.
