Usurper (1990-1992): a Death Metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Usurper was the first ambient black metal project by Sterling Von Scarborough (a.k.a. Noctiluca; Keyboards; ex-Incubus/ex-Morbid Angel/ex-Anubis/ex-Liber Noctiluca/ex-Von Incubus). Started back in 1990, along with Rich Fuscia (drums; ex-Incubus/ex-Lestregus Nosferatus) and Danny Klein (guitars), the project resulted in only a three-track demo 1992.Footnote: No relation with the Chicago based death metal band with the same name.
