Usipian (2000-2007): a Death Metal band from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Danish Death, Black and thrash metal act Usipian was formed in late 1995 originally as Gothic Domain. After years of struggle in search of musicians and several recordings specifically their 1998 CDR An Everborn as Gothic Domain under 'Intromental Management' with Toke Eld (vocals), Tais Pedersen (guitar), Rune Gregersen (guitar), Lars Møller (drums), Anders Drøydal (keyboards) and Klaus Nielsen (bass) and live concerts with bands such as Aura Noir and Limbonic Art, a line-up and name came in the summer of 2000.

When The Human Spirit Massacre, was released in 2002 with Eldand Tais Pedersenreturning to recruit Nis Rode Larsen (drums), Martin Rosendahl (bass), Thomas Pedersen (guitar), Anders Drøydal (keyboard) the experienced their firstrecording under the new name Uspian. The first concert under this name was in support of Vader shortly later.

After the release, Usipian once again changed its line-up, which ended up consisting of Eld, Larsson and Pedersen returning with Jeppe Hasseriis (guitar) and Martin Rosendahl (bass) to release their 2003 Promo 2003 CD-R. In November of that year bass player Kent Værens was added to the line-up as a replacement for Martin Rosendahl.  In April 2004, the tracks from Promo 2003 were officially released as a 7-inch EP, entitled Clouded Restrainment by Swedish label 'Metal Fortress Entertainment'.

The Clouded Restrainment Single (2004), Dead Corner of the Eye (2005) and In Skinless Form EP (2009) would follow posthumously as the act split in 2007.
